RESPIRATORY SYNCYTIAL VIRUS (RSV)

RSV is an infectious disease of the airways and lungs. It can cause cold type symptoms, but it can also cause more serious respiratory symptoms and can lead to pneumonia and life-threatening conditions.

Every year 1000’s of older adults need hospital admission and care for RSV.

The best way to protect yourself is to the vaccination. This is not a replacement for the flu vaccination which we will offering from 3rd October alongside the autumn Covid vaccination.
