How to order your Repeat Prescription

We can take repeat prescription requests as follows:

  • By handing in your prescription slip to reception, please note if we are closed we have a box located outside of the building.
    • If you do not have a repeat slip, then we have paper copies available at the surgery for completion.
  • By putting your request in via your pharmacy.
  • Using one of the following online services: via the website, SystmOnline or the NHS App.

We cannot take prescription requests over the telephone.

Please allow at least 48 working hours for a repeat prescription to be processed. This does not include the time it may take the pharmacy to order and issue your medication. Please check with your Pharmacy if you want to know when your prescription will be ready, please do not call the practice.

It is also worth noting that items that are not on your repeat list may take longer if they have not been issued for some time or are for antibiotics. This usually requires a consultation with a doctor.

Repeat medication for contraception and HRT, will also require a review with a nurse in the first instance. Please call the practice to make an appointment, please allow at least three weeks.
